What is EIFS?
EIFS stands for Exterior Insulation and Finish System. With the added application of a waterproof layer and the insulating effects of foam boards, it provides, not only a more energy-efficient exterior, but one that can be designed with more fluidity than wood, siding, and other exterior applications.
Created in East Germany in the 60's, the system has been adapted and enhanced to what it is today. It is often referred to as synthetic stucco as it can mimic the look and texture of a fine stucco application.
How do I get a quote on my project?
The first step is to submit a contact form or give us a call!
If possible, include a print of the job with the square footage - as we look at that when planning a job.
You will get a call/email from us to discuss your project as well as any structural details not included in the print.
If your location is close, we can plan to meet with you and tour the site. This is preferred as we can take into account unforeseen obstacles/details that are not on the print.
After all details are finalized, we will discuss cost. Some projects require a deposit to begin work. (This usually includes the cost of scaffold/lift rental and supplies.)
When the job is started, depending on the size, you may receive weekly invoices to keep the job moving smoothly.
At the end of the project, after we have toured the site with you, you will receive your last invoice.
